Non-Denominational Wedding Officiant

Your ceremony,written for you.

I'm Rhonda. I marry couples across Snohomish and King County, and I don't do cookie-cutter. I learn your story first, then write a ceremony that sounds like the two of you.

Five things every ceremony is built on

Love

Bringing two people together is the whole point. I still get emotional every time.

Personal

No templates. I learn your story and write something that belongs to you.

Joy

A marriage should begin with fun, adventure and a good party.

Connection

I don't disappear after the wedding. I've made lifelong friends out of couples and their families.

Inclusion

Everyone deserves to have their love celebrated.

Meet Rhonda

It started with "I've got an idea."

I began officiating after I had the chance to perform a ceremony for some dear friends. I realized how much fun it was, and that I was bringing joy to two people's lives.

What else can you do where everybody wants to be there, love and excitement are in the air, and it's a big party?

Since then I've built lifelong friendships. I've watched new generations be born. And I have just as much fun as the couples, their families and their friends — from something that started off as "I've got an idea."

  • Non-denominationalFaith, no faith, or a blend of both. The ceremony follows you.
  • Every ceremony written from scratchNothing off a shelf, ever.
  • Legal paperwork handledI file your marriage certificate and get it back to you.

Before I write your ceremony, I want to know your story.

Every couple gets a marriage-preparation conversation guide and a little date-night gift, to encourage you to slow down, spend some intentional time together, and talk about the life you're building.

Then we get together and I get to know you — not just as a bride and groom, but as two people beginning a marriage.

The conversation guide

Real questions about your relationship and your future, meant to be talked through together, not filled out like a form.

A date night, on me

A $25 date-night gift. Put your phones down, go somewhere, and answer the questions over dinner.

Then we meet

We sit down together. Everything you tell me becomes the ceremony your guests will hear.

Love is love, and every couple deserves a ceremony that reflects who they are. I welcome and proudly serve couples of all backgrounds, identities and orientations. My goal is simple: to celebrate your love, honor your story, and help you begin your marriage surrounded by joy.
